Director – Nina Petty, B.Communication Pathology (Speech and Language Therapy & Audiology), CertMRCSLT, HCPC Registered (SL11969)
Nina qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) in 2001. Since then she has worked in various settings, including the NHS and educational settings. She is a specialist in Paediatric Dysphagia and ASD, and has significant experience in Intensive Interaction.
In 2013, Nina started Nina Petty Speech and Language Therapy Service as an independent practice, to provide speech and language intervention across various locations. Consultation sessions and supervision for dysphagia caseloads are also provided.
As a mum of three, Nina understands how important it is to be able to access the right service promptly with no lengthy waiting times. It is her belief that there is no such thing as a trivial concern, and parents and carers should always feel comfortable to ask any questions as concerned equals. As a result, Nina Petty Speech and Language Therapy Services will always endeavour to ensure clients are seen as soon as possible following an initial contact.
Practice Manager – Lynne Thorn
The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the administration for the practice, including maintaining all the records to a high level of confidentiality, keeping the diary for the SALT appointments, invoicing following weekly sessions as well as reports and monitoring of contact hours.

Registration and Security
All employees of Nina Petty Speech and Language Therapy services hold appropriate DBS/CRB certificates, and all therapists are registered with the HCPC – Heath and Care Professions Council.
